Skydio Anti-Slavery Statement

Introduction and Leadership Commitment

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 requires retailers and manufacturers doing business in California to disclose efforts to eradicate modern slavery and human trafficking from its direct supply chain. The United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires commercial organizations to disclose their policies and other information in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking, and the steps the organization has taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within the business and its supply chain.

Skydio is committed to ensuring the personnel, and communities that support our supply chain are treated with fundamental dignity and respect. We strive to ensure that the products and services we provide are produced in a way that respects human rights. We all share the responsibility to be aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, and to report or respond to concerns identified by any individual, organization, or community within our supply chain. We will take appropriate steps to mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring in any aspect of our business and supply chain.

While it is the duty of governments to protect human rights, Skydio recognizes our responsibility to respect and uphold internationally recognized human rights through the ethical treatment of our workforce and those within our value chain. Guided by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, we commit to embedding respect for human rights throughout our business. We continuously evaluate our operations and value chain to identify, assess, and address salient human rights risks, engage key stakeholders, and prioritize key areas where we have the greatest opportunity to have a positive impact on workers and communities. Our approach on human rights is informed by international standards; we respect and support the Core Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Our Organization and Business

Skydio Inc., and its subsidiaries (“Skydio”) are committed to these compliance requirements.

We take our responsibility as America's leading drone manufacturer seriously. We design, assemble, and support our products in the U.S. We develop our software in-house and source our processors from U.S. companies. That enables us to provide a high level of supply chain security and serve as a trusted partner to government customers. The result is a homegrown aircraft that reflects the best of American innovation, trustworthiness, and craftsmanship. Skydio is also a dual-use business focused on building flying common sensor platforms that serve civilian and defense customers equally. “Dual-use,” in this context, means that our products are not specially designed for military end use or military end users. Our offerings can be found on Skydio.com.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes the sourcing of technological equipment, components, materials, cloud services, and related support services. Our suppliers are required to complete an annual self-certification related to our Supplier Code of Conduct, labor practices, materials sourcing, global sanctions and export controls. We have a zero-tolerance policy to modern slavery and human trafficking.

Our Policies on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chain.

Due Diligence Processes for Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk:

  • We manage our premises to ensure optimum control of the work environment;
  • We build long-standing relationships with suppliers and service providers and make clear our expectations of business behavior as defined in our Supplier Code of Conduct; and
  • We have in place systems and training to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistleblowers who may come forward.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain and our business, we provide training to relevant members of staff through our Traliant global LMS on the topics of Code of Conduct, Ethics, Employee Handbook and Anti-slavery, anti-corruption and anti-harassment policies and principles.

Our Effectiveness in Combating Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chain:

  • Whistleblower hotline access and audit visibility to reporting;
  • Use of labor monitoring processes for our employees and contractors;
  • Level of communication and personal contact with the next link in the supply chain and their understanding of, and compliance with, our expectations, including our Supplier Code of Conduct; and
  • Annual Supplier Self-Certification declaration completed by our supply chain vendors.

This statement is made pursuant to the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our company’s modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the current year.
