Drone as First Responder helps Redmond PD locate missing man in wooded area

Synopsis

When an elderly man went missing in a densely wooded area, Redmond Police Department launched a drone to assist with the search. From above, the drone provided real-time situational awareness that helped officers safely and quickly locate the individual.

Ground teams were able to navigate the terrain efficiently and confirm the man’s location which would have been otherwise impossible. Redmond PD was able to bring the man to safety.
