About the role:
Skydio is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to help develop systems improvements within our NetSuite ecosystem, specifically focusing on MRP, MPS, and Routings, to enable our operations to grow efficiently. You will partner closely with our supply chain and in-house production teams to understand their pain points and leverage your expertise in best practices to develop solutions that drive productivity, scalability, and profitability.
How you'll make an impact:
- Be a NetSuite expert with a focus on MRP and Routings / Advanced Manufacturing who helps enable and enforce best practices across teams
- Develop and implement robust solutions and tools within NetSuite to optimize material flow, production scheduling, and factory execution
- Develop and maintain prioritized project plans outlining key milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including production, supply chain, quality, planning, and engineering to conduct thorough problems and needs assessments related to NetSuite
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and NetSuite developers to convey project requirements and expectations
- Monitor project timelines, establish clear accountability and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving requirements
- Conduct regular meetings and generate reports on project status, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed
- Solicit and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement across systems
What makes you a good fit:
- Experience as a NetSuite technical lead and as a project manager. Depth related to standing up NetSuite MRP and Routings functionality is a plus
- Deep understanding of hardware and manufacturing business processes
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements and to make decisions in ambiguity
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with business stakeholders and third party developers
- Ability to prioritize tasks against competing development schedules to maximize effectiveness
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Ability to identify and address challenges proactively
Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $150,500 - $212,500.
