Skydio Awards 2025 Terms & Conditions

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE 2025 SKYDIO AWARDS CONTEST ("CONTEST"). A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. AS A CONDITION OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE AN AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY AND/OR RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT.

1. The Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the beginning of the Contest Period (as defined in Section 3 below). This Contest is void where prohibited by law. Individuals cannot participate in the Contest if gifting or receipt of any part of the Contest Prize(s) are prohibited by any applicable state, county, or city law, their employer's code of conduct, or any local jurisdictional requirements. Employees, directors, members, partners or agents of, consultants to, any person who directly or indirectly controls is controlled by, members of the immediate family of, or those domiciled with an employee of Sponsor (as defined in Section 10 below), or its affiliates or related companies, and any supplier of goods or services in connection with the promotion are ineligible to participate.
2. How to enter. Submit a nomination by submitting a video footage entry to Sponsor's website as directed by Sponsor ("Entry"), using the entry form link. All valid Entries received by Sponsor during the Contest Period will be entered to win a Prize.
3. Contest period. This Contest begins on March 1, 2025 at 12:01 AM PST and ends on August 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST (“Contest Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeper for the Contest.
4. Prizes and odds. Two (2) prizes are available for winning this Contest (each, a "Prize"), including: (a) trophy; (b) a Skydio For All donation to the winner's agency association or a non-profit organization approved by Sponsor. This Prize package has a total estimated value of $2,500.

   No Prize may be substituted or exchanged or assigned or transferred by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute or modify any Prize. Each Prize winner is solely responsible for any local, federal and other taxes and charges in connection with the receipt and use of a Prize. Any additional expenses incident to the receipt and use of a Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. All prize values are in United States dollars. All prizes are subject to customer's internal legal review and approval (including government customers) regarding gratuities, conflict of interest, or any other applicable government regulations. If it is determined that under applicable law or regulation that an entrant cannot accept an award, the entrant will receive a special recognition accolade as appropriate.

   If, due to an error, there are more claims for Prizes than Prizes stated in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award Prizes through a random drawing of eligible Prize claims. In order to be declared a Prize winner, a potential winner selected through such a draw must correctly answer a simple mathematical skill testing question. No more than the stated number of Prizes shall be awarded. Should a potential winner decline or fail to claim a Prize, or be unreachable, Sponsor reserves the right to not award a Prize to anyone.

   If, due to Entrant's employer's policies, Entrant is unable to accept a Prize, Sponsor will make a charitable donation on Entrant's behalf subject to applicable policy and regulation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if such donation would be prohibited by any applicable state, county, or city law, employer code of conduct, or any local jurisdictional requirements, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize to another entrant or to not award the Prize to anyone

5. Winner selection. Sponsor will determine Participants' eligibility as described in section 1 (Eligibility), and Participant warrants that Participant is eligible to receive a Prize under all eligibility requirements. Sponsor will choose one (1) winner for each Prize among all valid Entries received by Sponsor at the end of the Contest Period (each, a "Selection"). This is a skills-based contest with winners chosen by Sponsor in its sole discretion based on the quality and content of the Entries.
6. Notification and claiming Prize. Sponsor will notify the winner of a Prize by contacting the winner's email address used to enter the Contest within seven (7) days of Selection. To claim a Prize, the selected winner must respond to Sponsor within three (3) days after receiving Sponsor;s winner notification, accepting a Prize, providing the information requested by Sponsor necessary for delivery of a Prize, and cooperating thereafter with Sponsor to determine claiming of a Prize. As applicable, the winner may be required to provide a signed document from the winner's employer confirming the winner is able to receive a Prize."
   

   If a Prize winner does not comply with these Official Rules, does not meet eligibility requirements, does not claim a Prize within three (3) days of the date of Sponsor's notification of winning a Prize, or does not timely comply with all of Sponsor's instructions to claim the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize to another Participant or to choose no replacement winner.

7. General conditions. By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor in all matters, which are final.

   If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, may corrupt or affect the administration, operation, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and select a Prize winner from the Entries received prior to the action taken, or by other means deemed fair, appropriate and necessary by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse entry or disqualify you if Sponsor: (i) learns or suspects that you have misappropriated another's identity, or infringed upon the rights of any person or entity; (ii) finds that you have tampered, are tampering or plan to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; or (iii) believes that you are ineligible to receive a Prize or have violated these Official Rules or are acting in an unprofessional, unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, including, without limitation, positing vulgar, profane or disrespectful content in connection with your participation in the Contest. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be in violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

   Sponsor is not responsible for any Entry not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

   Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering, or the announcement of any Prize or in the administration of the Contest. By accepting a Prize, each Prize winner releases Sponsor and its affiliated and related companies, the Prize supplier and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, including, without limitation, their advertising and promotional agencies and the independent Contest organizations, from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or misuse of the Prize.

   By entering the Contest, you consent to being contacted by Sponsor for Contest-related purposes, which include, without limitation, Prize eligibility notifications, Prize claim notifications and Prize claim reminder notifications.

8. Release and limitations of liability; License. Except where prohibited, by participating in the Contest, you agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sponsor and its related companies, promotional partners, Prize partners, parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, predecessors, and their respective agents and agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") from and against any claim, cause of action, loss, fine, award, judgment, demand, lawsuit, obligation, interest, tax, penalty or other damage, including, without limitation, attorneys' fees, expert fees and costs, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Contest, including, without limitation: (i) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (ii) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (iii) printing errors; (iv) errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of Entries; or (v) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from your participation in the Contest and/or receipt and/or use of any Entry or Prize. By submitting an Entry, and in consideration for your participation in the Contest, you grant Sponsor, and warrant that you have the authority to so grant, an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, print, publish, broadcast, create derivatives of, modify, or otherwise use the Entry in any form or medium. You understand that the photographs, videos, and testimonials may be used in a publication, print ad, direct-mail piece, electronic media (e.g., video, CD-ROM, Internet/www), or other form of promotion. You understand that the images may be altered, and you understand that the Sponsor may, at their discretion, edit your testimonial for spelling, grammar, or wording when necessary. You waive the right to approve of any finished product. By entering this Contest, you understand that your Entry may be publicly available on the Contest website until a time period after Sponsor selects Prize winners. You are responsible for ensuring videos or images submitted comply with applicable law relating to public records, personal data, and privacy rights of individuals appearing in the Entry. You understand that submitting photos, videos, and/or testimonials is not a guarantee that they will be used or published. By submitting an Entry you represent and warrant that your statements are factually correct and represent your true opinion and experience as stated, that you are not disclosing any non-public information, and that you have the legal right to grant these rights and to submit the Entry any photos, videos or testimonials. By entering this Contest, you assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Contest or the acceptance or use of any Entry or Prize.
9. By entering the Contest, you agree that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, excluding your attorneys' fees, expert fees and costs; and (iii) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, special and consequential damages and any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules and the rights and obligations of you and Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any conflict of laws rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. These Official Rules shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of Sponsors and each of your respective successors, assigns, estates, executors and heirs.
10. The sponsor ("Sponsor") of this Contest is Skydio, Inc. located at 3000 Clearview Way, San Mateo, California, 94402, USA.
11. Winners List. A list of winners ("Winners List") will be available after October 1, 2025. For a Winners List, send an email with the subject line, "Skydio Awards 2025 Contest Winners", to awards@skydio.com.
