About the role: 

We are looking for a driven, results-oriented Operations Manager - Training to join Skydio’s training efforts for our Commercial, Public Safety and Education, and Global Government customers. You will be the tip of the spear for successful customer adoption of Skydio’s technology by optimizing training operations. This role reports to the Director of Training and will work closely with our Training, Customer Success, Product, and Sales functions to help deliver educational content and customer training on time.

Location: U.S. remote or hybrid/onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Assist trainers with coordinating, scheduling, and staffing remote and in-person training events
  • Maintain updated training records and reports using a variety of tools
  • Assist with administration of our LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Monitor and evaluate training processes and workflows for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement and optimization
  • Manage intake of training content requests and partner with technical writers, eLearning developers, video directors, and trainers to ensure timely delivery of final assets

What makes you a good fit:

  • Proven success in a similar role, driving successful operational programs within customer success or similar organizations at a high-growth company
  • Specific experience with scheduling and workforce management (Salesforce a plus)
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Highly motivated and highly curious, with an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Familiarity with business systems and tools (e.g., Notion, Monday.com, Salesforce, Zendesk, Confluence)

Nice to Haves:

  • Drone/UAV experience and/or a passion for drones
  • Experience with training programs

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
