About the role:
Skydio is seeking an experienced Director – Salesforce Architecture & GTM Systems Lead to shape and scale our go-to-market technology stack, with Salesforce at its foundation. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance Systems, and Operations to deliver solutions that accelerate revenue growth, enhance customer engagement, and improve data quality and accessibility across the business.
You’ll set the technical and strategic direction for Salesforce and integrated GTM systems, enabling Skydio’s revenue teams to scale effectively and operate with clarity.
How you'll make an impact:
- Lead GTM systems strategy Ensure Salesforce and connected tools align with Skydio’s revenue processes and support operational excellence.
- Manage & mentor Lead a small team of Salesforce Administrators and partner with the Salesforce development team to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.
- Architect scalable solutions Design, build, and implement workflows, integrations, and automations. Take ownership of Salesforce and DealHub CPQ systems to drive efficiency and reliability.
- Own the GTM systems roadmap Define and prioritize long-term initiatives in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations leaders.
- Translate business needs into technical designs Build clear, well-documented, and scalable solutions for complex requirements.
- Drive Salesforce data excellence Oversee data architecture, governance, de-duplication, and compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Establish standards and best practices Define guidelines for development, configuration, and administration across GTM systems.
- Enable GTM teams Optimize core processes, including lead management, forecasting, quoting, onboarding, renewals, and customer support workflows.
- Evaluate & implement technologies Continuously improve the GTM stack with modern tools and integrations.
What makes you a good fit:
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience, including leading complex implementations and scaling enterprise systems.
- Deep expertise with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Proven skills in data modeling, declarative automation, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Strong knowledge of GTM processes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $184,500. - $262,500*.
