About the Role

You’ll partner with Sales, Finance, Hardware Ops, and Marketing to build and run the operating rhythm across headcount, compensation, quota/capacity, territories, and demand. You’ll lead the recurring forecast, deliver monthly/quarterly KPI insights, and turn analysis into clear recommendations.

What you’ll do

  • Plan & allocate: Lead annual/quarterly planning for headcount, capacity, quota allocation, territory design, and customer segmentation in partnership with sales leadership and Finance teams
  • Integrate GTM plans: Align with Demand Gen, SDR, Reseller/Channel, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to create a single, integrated plan.
  • Forecast: Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly bookings and demand forecasts with Sales leadership, Finance, and Hardware Ops; reconcile top-down and bottom-up, and maintain a single source of truth.
  • Compensation & quotas: Design, roll out, and administer sales comp plans and quotas with Finance; analyze performance and recommend improvements grounded in data.
  • Metrics: Publish KPIs; run monthly and quarterly reviews with clear insights and actions.
  • Data quality: Establish standards and partner across teams to keep Salesforce (and related systems) accurate and reliable for reporting and decisions.
  • Ad hoc analytics: Build models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • In office requirement: 3 days per week at HQ in San Mateo, CA.

What you’ll bring

  • BA/BS (business, finance, engineering, or related) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in consulting, RevOps/Sales Ops, BizOps, or similar analytical/operational roles.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; comfort with large/complex datasets.
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Clear communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong program management.

Nice to have

  • Management consulting or investment banking background.
  • MBA (marketing, finance, mathematics, business, or related).

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000*.
