My career has always been focused on merging leading-edge technologies with true business problems to solve some of today's toughest business challenges. These challenges range from transforming the way Energy companies create new automation processes, to Transportation companies tracking logistic changes, and Agricultural companies better servicing their clients.
I started my career in the wireless industry working in many different roles at Verizon. The last 3 years there I spent leading sales engagements for IoT integrated systems focussed on the Utility Industry. While working with the top Utility accounts around these integrations, I had a pivotal moment that made me realize the true potential of robotics and drones for change management.
This set off a path of discovery which eventually led me to joining Skyward a Verizon Company before joining the founding Enterprise Sales Team at DroneDeploy. Over the next couple of years my career literally “took off” while building scaled drone operations momentum across some of the largest US companies in the Energy, Construction, Agriculture, and Transportation industries. These engagements allowed me to better understand the challenges companies were facing as they started to implement drones into their operations. Over these 2 years, I came to realize the main ingredient needed for large-scale drone adoption was automation across hardware and software.
Two years later in January of 2021, I joined Skydio as an early member of the Enterprise Sales Team. From starting as an individual contributor to leading a sales team over the last two years, it has been astounding to be a part of the organization that Skydio is building. From the Incredibly brilliant Engineering teams, to Customer Success managers who drop EVERYTHING to make customers successful, I’m humbled to be a part of it all.
The work Skydio is doing to change the paradigm for autonomous drone operations is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the drone industry. I believe we are at the crossroads of incredible breakthroughs both on the hardware, software, and regulatory front to step over the threshold of autonomous drone operations that generations ahead will look back on. I recognize the last statement sounds very visionary, but I have never been more convinced that the stars are aligning for fully autonomous drone operations at scale.
I’m excited to share that I have accepted the VP of Enterprise Sales role for Skydio and will be leading the team's growth as we scale up our focus on the large, private sector companies here in the Americas.
