  • Work closely with internal camera design, vehicle manufacturing teams, and module integrators to optimize designs and improve manufacturability and yield.
  • Excellent learning and growth opportunity through the development of multiple custom cameras, contributing to a significant impact on our future roadmap and the entire drone industry

What makes you a good fit:

  • Mechanical design experience of miniature camera modules for high volume products
  • Experience reviewing and generating mechanical design with 3D CAD and providing detailed mechanical specs for components, modules and fixtures
  • Knowledge of optical module/system integration that meets performance and reliability
  • Experience working with optical and electrical engineers to understand constraints and trade-offs
  • Excellent communication with external vendors to remotely drive DFM, failure analysis, propose and implement corrective actions
  • Tolerance analysis of highly complex mechanical designs
  • Experience with camera autofocus actuator design and integration is a plus
  • Structural and thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus
